When I started training with Tony, I was in pretty good shape, but I had injured my shoulder (weight training without Tony!). I could hardly lift my arm and was very worried that I'd lose muscle while it healed. He picked a theraputic program for my shoulders, and balanced out my program during my recovery so that not only my shoulder healed, my body composition became almost ideal. My chiropractor told me (about a year after beginning with Tony) that I had completely changed my body--for the better.
During the second year that I was working with Tony, my schedule and lifestyle changed. I had much less time for exercise, and was not able to stay on the strict diet that had been my habit for years. Tony was very helpful in guiding me as I changed my diet and program. After about nine months of the more relaxed routine, I am very satisfied with my fitness level. I can still jog up Fryman mountain and can still fit into my size 2 jeans.
For me, the most important characteristics of a trainer are met by Tony:
He is always early.
He always has a plan for the training session (which is created for me).
He keeps me working & not talking or wasting time.
He constantly experiments with new techniques, which is necessary to keep improving and interested.
He is flexible with his program.
He is honest about how well I am meeting my fitness goals
I know that Tony can help anyone at any fitness level make the changes that they want to see in their body. He has certainly helped me keep the signs of middle age from becoming obvious!
